More than a name on a roll
Joining a church begins a relationship. You are entering a community where people worship God, learn Scripture, care for one another, and serve together. You bring a story, questions, and gifts that matter. You do not have to know everything before you begin.
Belonging grows through connection
Paul describes the church as a body with many members. Different gifts and responsibilities work together for the good of the whole. Look for opportunities to learn names, introduce yourself, and participate consistently. Receiving care and offering care are both part of church life.
A first step you can take
Meet a church leader or your new-member guide. Ask how membership works, what the next steps are, and whom you can contact with questions. Learn how your congregation welcomes new members; completing this course does not replace that conversation.
